Lexington, KY – Injuries Result from Wreck on Citation Blvd near Sandersville Rd
Lexington, KY (March 5, 2025) – A major car accident happened in Lexington on March 5. Multiple responders were sent to the scene of the crash on Citation Boulevard near Sandersville Road on Wednesday evening. Shortly before 5:30 p.m., the wreck happened for reasons still being investigated by area authorities. One or more victims were injured in the accident. Paramedics transported injured parties to the hospital for treatment while police worked to investigate the circumstances of the crash. All lanes of Georgetown Road were closed while responders worked at the scene. Police in Lexington are working to determine the cause of the accident.
