Louisville, KY – Five Hurt in Collision With Amish Buggy on KY-259

Louisville, KY (March 10, 2025) – Five people were injured in a collision in Louisville on March 7. Reports from local authorities show the incident occurred when a vehicle and horse-drawn buggy collided. It happened at approximately 4:15 p.m. near the 14000 block of South KY 259.

Police reported that Brenda Aubrey, 55, was headed south when she rear-ended the buggy. The driver of the buggy, 33-year-old Elise Girod, along with three juvenile passengers, were transported to UofL Hospital after the crash. One juvenile passenger remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
