Louisville, KY (December 9, 2024) – Three people lost their lives in a multi-vehicle collision in Louisville on Saturday evening, December 8. According to reports, the wreck occurred at around 5:10 p.m. on the Bluegrass Parkway near Milepost 6. Two vehicles were traveling in the eastbound lane when one lost control and left the roadway before crossing the median and going airborne. That vehicle then struck another vehicle headed west head-on. Another car was then hit in the front passenger side. The three individuals who lost their lives were identified as 30-year-old Shirley Fuqua, 58-year-old Leslie Parson, and William Parson, age 55. All three were pronounced deceased at the scene. Police in Louisville continue to investigate the details of the collision.
