Lexington, KY – Woman Loses Life in Collision on Camelot Dr
Lexington, KY (March 17, 2025) – One person has died as a result of a traffic collision that occurred in Lexington on Friday night, March 14. Mary Downs, 67, lost her life in the wreck that occurred just after 5 p.m. on that day.
According to Lexington Police, troopers were called to the 3700 block of Camelot Drive for reports of a vehicle that had crashed into an apartment complex. When police officers arrived, they found a vehicle partially inside the structure. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital with injuries. Downs was pronounced deceased shortly after 7:00 p.m. Friday as a result of her injuries. Police in Lexington continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
