Lexington, KY – Nicholasville Rd Scene of Injury Wreck near Surfside Dr

Lexington, KY (February 5, 2025) – At least one person suffered injuries in a car crash in Lexington on February 5. Shortly after 8:00 a.m., multiple responders were sent to the scene of the accident on Nicholasville Road. An unspecified number of vehicles collided near Surfside Drive, causing injuries and traffic delays. EMS worked to help those who were hurt and transport seriously injured victims to local hospitals. The cause of the accident is currently under local law enforcement investigation at this time. Traffic delays were observed while responders worked to help those involved and clear the scene. Police in Lexington continue to investigate.
