Maysville, KY – Couple Loses Life in Wreck on AA Hwy near Slack Rd

Maysville, KY (November 18, 2024) – A couple from Northern Kentucky lost their lives and another driver suffered serious injuries after a traffic accident in Maysville. Police say two men from Texas rear-ended a Hyundai Sonata in the westbound lanes of the AA Highway near Slack Road, causing the deadly accident. The impact pushed the vehicle into oncoming traffic where it was then struck by a Chevy Malibu. Both individuals inside the Sonata lost their lives. They were identified as Latasha and Joshua Wells, of Germantown. The driver of the Malibu was airlifted to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries. Both Texas men were arrested and charged in connection with the crash. Police in Maysville continue to investigate.
