McCracken Co., KY – Two Injured in DUI Crash on Clarks River Rd
McCracken Co., KY (December 4, 2024) – Two people suffered injuries and one was arrested after a traffic accident in McCracken County. The wreck occurred on Monday night, December 1. Two vehicles collided on Clarks River Road near the Fivestar gas station when a 58-year-old identified as Wesley Almon was struck by a man under the influence.
The intoxicated driver was identified as 47-year-old Justin Peck. Police say Peck was headed outbound on Clarks River Road in a black truck without headlights which prevented Almon from seeing his approaching vehicle. Both men were treated at an area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Police determined Peck was driving under the influence of intoxicating substances. Police in McCracken County continue to investigate the details of the incident.
